Since joining the Heath faculty, Mrs. Smith has grown the choral program from 90 to nearly 250 students as of 2025. Mrs. Smith has also grown the contemporary a cappella program at Heath, founding four ensembles that have earned recognition at competitions across Texas and the nation. Infiniti, the school’s premier mixed a cappella group, advanced to the Finals of the International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA) in New York City in both 2022 and 2024, earning 2nd place in the nation in 2024 and 3rd place in 2025. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her students, creating memorable musical experiences, and fostering lifelong appreciation for the arts.
