Kelli Harter

Kelli Harter, an Amarillo native and graduate of West Texas A&M University, is thrilled to join Rockwall ISD as she begins her 13th year in music education at Cain Middle School. An accomplished educator, Mrs. Harter is an active adjudicator, clinician, and soloist. She is also a member of several professional organizations, including TMEA, TCDA, ACDA, and TMAA. In addition to being honored as a Teacher of the Year candidate in 2016, 2022, and 2025, Mrs. Harter has also received the prestigious National Honor Society Bell Award for outstanding leadership. Throughout her career, choirs under her direction have consistently achieved sweepstakes ratings at UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Evaluations. Moreover, many of her students have earned placement in TMEA Honor Choirs, as well as All-Region and All-State Choirs. She is excited to contribute to and uphold the tradition of musical excellence established within Rockwall ISD.
Mrs. Harter and her husband of 18 years, Matthew, are proud parents to two wonderful children, Elizabeth and Mason. The Harter family is eager to become involved in the Rockwall community and support the district. Go Mustangs!”
